Flora L. Freeman, age 77, of Springfield, MO, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Maranatha Lodge . She was born March 1, 1934, in Aurora, MO, to George and Ollie (Howerton) McCullah. Flora enjoyed attending church at Maranatha Chapel, with her daughter Jodie.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Freeman; and her parents George and Ollie Bell McCullah. She is survived by three children, Sharon Jodie Traw and husband Terry of Strafford, MO, Carol Buckner of Republic, MO, and Gary Freeman of Henderson, NV;one grandson Richard Buckner of Republic; one great- grandson Dayton Buckner of Springfield; one brother Robert McCullah of Lawson, MO; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:OO P.M., Saturday, October 8, 2011, at Maranatha Chapel, , with Chaplain Darryl Paddock officiating. Burial will be held in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Maranatha Chapel.
