Floy Geneva (Nelson) Broome went to be with her heavenly Father on March 27, 2015. She was 93 years old and resided with her husband Marshall at The Baptist Home in Ozark, Missouri at the time of her passing. She was born in Cobb County Georgia on October 30, 1921, the daughter of Pinkney and Octavia Nelson. She was the beloved wife of Marshall A. Broome for 73 years. She is also survived by their Children, Laura Ann Jensen and husband Ralph in Longwood Florida, Vickie Lee Wright and Husband Dennis in Springfield Missouri and Robert Broome and wife Judy in Bella Vista, Arkansas. She is also survived by her brother, Harvey Nelson of Atlanta, Georgia. Floy has many beautiful grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
She was a constant servant of God. She and Marshall lived most of their married life in Orlando, Florida before moving to Springfield, Missouri in 2006 to become closer to family. They were members of the Second Baptist church in Springfield.

A visitation will be Monday, March 30, 2015 from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home East in Springfield, MO. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. at Rivermonte Cemetery in Springfield, MO with Chaplain Tommy Harper officiating.
