Frances Hollingsworth Folsom, Springfield, MO, took the high road to heaven to spend eternity with Jesus, February 7, 2015. Frances was born April 21, 1929, to Lillie M. (Brown) and George M. Hollingsworth, of Macks Creek, MO.
Frances worked for Lily Tulip and retired from the Springfield Tablet Factory.
Frances was a member of Noble Hill Baptist Church. Though she was unable to attend church, she loved watching Pastor Charles Stanley and John Hagee on TV.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Bobby G. Folsom, mother and father; brother Howard Hollingsworth, four sisters: Gladys Woods, Irene Greene, Ruby Lackey, and Georgia Parsons.
She is survived by her brother Paul Hollingsworth and wife, Shirley, Ash Grove, MO; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Frances loved fishing with her brother, Paul, on Lake Taneycomo at Forsyth, MO. Now she will be fishing with the angels in Heaven.
Funeral Services will be under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, MO. with Pastor Scotty Killingsworth officiating. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, followed by the funeral at 12:00 p.m. Final resting place will be in Springfield National Cemetery in Springfield, MO. following the service.
