Julie Mahaffey left a message on January 18, 2024:
So sorry for your loss. I knew Frank as a child, as his parents, Martha and Lewis were very close friends with my parents, Karl and Grace Underwood. I had the privilege of meeting Frank’s daughter Annette later in life. Prayers that God comforts you!
Jeanne Crandall left a message on January 17, 2024:
Frank, my cousin a/k/a Papa Weaver, was very good man---very musical and very kind. We are all shocked to hear he passed away. May the Good Lord take care of him on his way to heaven.
Carol and Jerry Van Sambeek left a message on January 17, 2024:
Dear Kay and family, What a tragic loss! Frank was always a quiet, steadfast tower of strength the few times that I had the opportunity to talk with him at family gatherings. I remember your wedding thinking what a neat couple you were. My Dad (Herschel Crandall) was pleased that Frank joined him in the office of what was then the Frisco Railroad. Most of the office personnel later moved to St. Paul when the Frisco merged with Burlington Northern but my Dad and Frank and others stayed in Springfield. At the few times that Jerry and I had the opportunity to talk with Frank and you, we noticed how firm your relationship was. It will probably be hard to carry on without Frank. If we can do anything to help, please let us know. Best wishes and much love and prayers, Carol and Jerry Van Sambeek
