Fred C. VanNatta 90, Springfield, Mo. passed away September 5, 2019, in his home after a long illness. He was born on March 28,, 1929, in Walnut Grove, Mo. to Clarence and Della Ann (Stone) VanNatta. He was a retired officer with the U.S. Navy, and he was a member of the Northdide Church of Christ.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Mary VanNatta, his son: Walter VanNatta and his daughter: Sissala Wilkey, five grandchildren: Roy Wilkeyt, Miranda Wilkey, Kim Rice, Walter Lee VanNatta and Keith VanNetta, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 9, 2019, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with Evangelist Irvin Barnes and Evangelist Brad Shockley officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow services at Mount Comfort Cemetery.
