Freida M. Myers, age 90, of Springfield, MO, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Woodland Manor. She was born November 14, 1924, in Carl Junction, MO, to George and Mable (Hammons) Graves. She was a graduate of Willow Springs High School. She was united in marriage to Clive S. Myers in August of 1942. Freida dedicated her life as a great homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty years, Clive S. Myers; her parents, George Arthur and Mable Elizabeth Graves; four brothers; and one sister. She is survived by her eight children, Ronald Myers, Washington, IL, Paula Schapeler, Marionville, MO, Patricia Flood, Olathe, KS, Randy Myers and wife Collette, Brookline, MO, Rodney Myers, Fair Grove, MO, Chris Myers and wife Sherry, Jonesbrough, TN, Janice Gardner, Tacoma WA, and Tom Myers and wife Keary, Paulsbo, WA; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great- grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Jaffee, Henderson, NV; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at , Thursday, September 10, 2015, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO. Burial will be held in Springfield National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO
