G. Frances (Bailey) Dunger, 88 of Springfield passed away Friday, August 10th, 2018 at Manor Care.
Frances was born on July 20, 1930 in Cairo, IL to Jess and Ola Bailey. She was united in marriage to William (Bill) H. Dunger on September 28, 1952. Frances will always be remembered for the beautiful roses that she grew, and her love of ice. She enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas and Austin with her daughter Amy. She was always happy to see her grand-dog, Peaco, who visited her daily.
Survivors include her three children, Amy Dunger, Springfield, MO, Morris Dunger and wife Maria, Ozark, MO and Keith Dunger and wife Edna, Austin, TX; six grandchildren, Sara, Christina, Brittany, Phillip, Madison, and Emily; four great grandchildren, Phoebe, Madden, Adyn, and Tobi; two nephews, Mike and Jeff; one niece Sandy; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Bill Dunger; parents, Jess and Ola Bailey; and one brother, Morris Bailey.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, August 14 at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 15th, 2018 at 11:00 am in Missouri Veterans Cemetery 5201 South Southwood Springfield, Missouri 65804. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice, in Frances name.
