“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear.”
It is with deep sorrow and abundant love that we announce the passing of Gale Stanley, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Gale departed this life peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Gale possessed a rare grace and a vibrant spirit that brightened every room she entered. Throughout her life, her family was her greatest joy and priority. For 22 beautiful years, she shared a deep, enduring partnership with her beloved husband, and love of her life, Jim Stanley. Together, they built a life filled with quiet moments of happiness, shared laughter, and unwavering mutual support.
As a mother, Gale’s heart was boundless. She poured her love and guidance into her daughters, Pamela Donovan and Rene’ Donovan, instilling in them strength, kindness, and compassion. Her role as a grandmother brought her unimaginable pride and happiness. Known for her affection, warm hugs, and radiant smile, she delighted in watching her grandchildren—Katelynn, Natalie, Riley, Tanner, Dixie, Finley, and Ella—grow and thrive. Each of them held a special and unique place in her heart.
Gale was a constant source of light and comfort to all who knew her, embodying a spirit of gentle warmth and generosity that extended to her siblings, extended family, and lifelong friends. Though her presence will be profoundly missed, the love she cultivated will continue to blossom in the hearts of those she touched.
Gale is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and ReVay Wilkerson. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of twenty-two years, Jim Stanley; her daughters, Pamela Donovan, and Rene’ Donovan; and seven beloved grandchildren, Katelynn Donovan, Natalie Donovan, Riley Murphy, Tanner Erdmann, Dixie Donovan, Finley Donovan, and Ella Sales.
