Garildeen Roy Berndt, was born March 18, 1927 on the family farm northwest of Coolidge, KS, to Fredrick and Florence (Herren) Berndt. He passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012, in Northview, MO.
He is survived by his sisters Joy Stalford and Irene Beaman both of Holly, CO., and Esther Trout of Springfield, MO., a host of nieces and nephews; a granddaughter Marlow, and many other relatives and friends.
Garildeen will be lying in state Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 1-8 pm in the Greenlawn Funeral Home North Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Coolidge Cemetery, Coolidge, KS., under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
