Gary Dale “Pappy” Gardenhire, age 69, of Strafford, MO, passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 in his home He was born March 14, 1944, in Springfield, to Norman and Nellie (Graham) Gardenhire . He was a member of the Fair Grove First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother Norman Gene Gardenhire.
Gary is survived by his wife Brenda of the home, three sons: Dwayne Gardenhire and his wife Kim, Kelly Dale Gardenhire and his wife Joyce, and Adam Daniel Gardenhire and his wife Tracy, two daughters: Christina Jones and Angela McGennis and her husband Christopher, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 28, 2014, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cemetery, near Fair Grove. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
