Gary Wayne Manes, age 66, passed away in his home at 4:59 a.m., on Sunday, December 8, 2024, with family by his side. Gary was born in Springfield, Missouri, on March 30, 1958, to Charles Wayne Manes and Joy Sue (Manes) Barker.
He lived in and around the Springfield area his entire life. He attended Parkview High and later obtained his General Education Diploma. He was known by many through his employment at Campbell’s Pest Control, Prestress Casting Company, or The Crazy Horse Saloon. Gary lived life to the fullest and then some. Gary was a friend to everyone, with a funny story or an inappropriate joke that normally made you laugh.
Gary had a very full and colorful life, and he will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by brothers: Jack Manes of Springfield MO., Kirk and Pam Manes of Billings, and their children: Megan Birk (Phil), Jared Manes, and daughter Sierra Marie Woods; 3 grandchildren; and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends. He will forever be missed and will never be forgotten.
