Georgia Frances Pendleton, 90, Mt. Vernon, MO passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 in Mt. Vernon Place Care Center. Georgia was born March 1, 1925 in Miller, MO to Thomas and Ethel (Laird) Scroggins. She married Francis (Mutt) Pendleton on September 20, 1943 in Miller, MO. She was a member of First Christian Church in Mt. Vernon, MO. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Deitra & Arthur Henry, Mt. Vernon, MO, Mike & Carole Pendleton, Mt. Vernon, MO, and Brenda & Terry Shiveley, Aurora, MO. Also, surviving are her 3 grandchildren: Deann Wilson, Krista Lamkins, and Amy Dodson and 6 great-grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be truly missed. Private graveside services will be held at a later date under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
