Georgia Mae Deeds-Taylor Rone, 90, of Springfield passed away suddenly, Friday, April 19, 2013 at James River Care Center. She was born October 14, 1922 in Webster County, MO to Mary Rosalee (Morrison) and Roy Emery Deeds. After her father’s death, her mother married Arche E Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dovie Marsh; three brothers Fred Taylor, Gerald Taylor and Arche Taylor, Jr.; an infant son, James Leroy Rone and a great granddaughter Hailey R Durr.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Kenneth Rone of James River Care Center; daughter Bonnie (Dave) Adams St George, UT; sons Robert (Sue), Steven (Sharon) Springfield, Stanley (Julie) LeMesa, CA, 14 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Georgia loved gardening, especially her flowers. She enjoyed her family, quilting and visiting with her neighbors.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23, 6-8pm at Greenlawn South; Funeral will be Wednesday, April 24, 10am at Greenlawn South. The casket will be closed for the funeral. Interment in Hazelwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the 1st ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, missionary fund.
