Gerald Arnold Abbott, 87, Gravette, Arkansas, formerly of the Springfield, MO. area, passed away on October 30, 2025, in the Jamestown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Rogers Arkansas. Gerald believed he was blessed with a wonderful life. He had met his wife, Dolores, at a church social, and they were married for 37 years. They had four children: Gary, John, Dale and Robby, and they also have several beautiful grandchildren.
Gerald had built his career as a Maintenance Engineer working on the railroad. Where He took pride in keeping things running smoothly. Outside of his work, He always enjoyed staying busy, with hobbies like fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending his time outdoors. Most of all, he loved visiting with others and sharing good company.
