Gerald Keith Hoffman, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, at the age of 59. Born on May 3, 1966, in Springfield, Missouri, Keith lived a life filled with laughter, adventure, and an unwavering love for his family.
Keith was a proud construction worker, known for his strong work ethic and his incredible ability to tackle any job that came his way. Those who worked alongside him admired his skills as much as his generous heart and warm smile. He was deeply rooted in the Springfield community and formed lasting friendships that enriched his life.
As an avid fisherman, Keith found joy and solace in the water, especially at the lake, where he spent countless afternoons catfishing with family and friends. His boat was more than just a vessel; it was a source of treasured memories and stories shared over days spent under the sun. He cherished the time spent outdoors, often with his beloved dog, Foster, by his side-his faithful companion during many fishing adventures.
Keith is survived by his sisters, Lois Strouse, Rebekah Blakey, and Jennifer Hoffman; his beloved aunt Lana and uncle Tom; several cherished cousins; and his loving children, Chris and Kerstin. He held a special place in his heart for each of them, and his legacy will live on through their lives.
Keith Hoffman will be dearly missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
