Gilbert Anthem Chartier, 62 of Goodson, Missouri passed away July 7, 2011 at his home. He was born August 29, 1948 in Providence, Rhode Island to Henry and Helen Chartier.
Gil served in both the Civil Air Patrol and the United States Army. He later became an over the road truck driver for 48 years, until 2009, when due to health issues, he had to retire. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, mowing his lawn, watching the Today show, playing cards, and he so much enjoyed making people laugh.
Gil married Patricia McCafferty, January 21, 1986.
He is survived by his wife Patricia. Additional survivors include, four daughters, Julie McGatha and husband Dale of Arcola MO, Stacy Seeman of Springdale AR, Tracy Chartier of Providence RI, Holly Curl and fiancée’ Billy Middleton of Green Ridge MO, one son, Jeremy Seeman and wife Tina of Greenville NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Dustin James, David, Tatyana, Isabella, Thomas, Kaitlyn, and Harley, a cousin, Diane Pfaffko and a son in law, David Cartright.
