Gladys was born April 21,1923 to Chloe and Bertha Trent. She passed away June 7,2012. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Anyone who knew her described her as a sweet,kind and gentle soul. She always had a smiling face. She loved the Lord, her church and church family and served her church family for many years. She loved visiting Silver Dollar City and going to her birth place {Ozark County} to see relatives and reminiscing about her precious memories of growing up there. She found beauty in the ozark hills. In recent years, during failing health she took great joy in watching birds at her bird feeders out her kitchen window, where she loved to sit. She was married to Bill Hubbard in 1941. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three sons, Jerry, Dennis and Randy,and a great grandson Jesse.
She is survived by four sons and their wives, Danny and Karla, Wayne and Charlene, Larry and Sherry, Bobby and Georgia, three daughters and their husbands, Janice and Gary, Judy and Leonard, and Karen. Also surving is 22 grandchildren,45 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren, a sister Maxine and a brother in law Herschel.
Special thanks to her pastors Charles Hufft and Rich Jenkins for the visits and prayers. A special thanks to Danna Butts and Mary Weber for their friendship, companionship and service to our mother. Visitation will be Sunday June 10, 2012 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery.
