Gladys Conley, 96, of Fair Grove, MO. passed away February 10, 2016 at Woodland Manor. The oldest child of Otis and Elta Wommack was born November 29, 1919 in Fair Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Junior, her brothers, Raymond, Bill, and Jimmy Joe. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Naomi (Jack) McKinney, grandchildren; Randy and Cindy McKinney, great-grandchildren; Lacey Currier and Travis McKinney, great great-grandchildren; Olivia, Alex, Triniti, Caleb, Triston, Destini and Ashley, her brother; Tom Wommack, and sisters; Martha McGilvery and Lillian Hein. Gladys was a member of Fair Grove Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. She worked for many years at St. John’s Hospital. She loved her church. The family thanks her Sunday School class, who always remembered her on special occasions during her time at Woodland Manor. A celebration of her life will be at Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 11:00am. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Greenlawn North. Interment will be in Brighton Cemetery. One of her last requests was “Don’t cry at my funeral.” Let us remember her with love. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Methodist Church in Fair Grove.
