Glen Clifton Miller, age 91, of Republic, MO, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at The Manor at Elfindale. He was born December 23, 1921, in Langdon, MO, to Peter and Ethel (Welch) Miller. He was member of the First Lutheran Church of Rock Port, Missouri. He served in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. Glen retired from the United States Postal service after over thirty years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents,Peter and Ethel Miller; one daughter, Marianne Miller; and one brother, Guy Miller. He is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Wanda Miller; one son, Eric Miller and wife Cathryn, Republic, MO; one daughter, Kathleen Pinkston and husband Keith of St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO with Mr. Dave Maggard officiating. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO. Online condolences may be made at www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com.
