Glenda D. Walker, 69, of Springfield, MO; passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Mercy Hospital. She was born April 9, 1943 in Springfield, the daughter of Rev. Jess Tindle and Zella Lee (Choate) Tindle.
Glenda graduated from Hillcrest High School. Glenda worked as a Pet Groomer for 47 years, and enjoyed gardening, sewing and painting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, eleven brothers and sisters and one grandson.
She is survived by her children; Tina and David Dorman; Susan and Brent Groh; Jerry and Becky Bowler and April Walker; two brothers; Paul and Eva Tindle and David and Georgeann Tindle, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews cousins and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Pleasant Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Online condolences may be left at www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com.
