Glenda May Wines 77, Springfield, Mo. passed away on March 11, 2019, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Nixa, Mo. on May 9, 1941, to Glen and Ruby (Patton) Jackson. She was married to Phillip Tell Wines, on July 28, 1962. She was a retired teachers aide for Springfield Public Schools, serving the needs of special-needs children for 25 years. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday School Teacher, for the older ladies. She loved her cats,and she loved helping people, and she loved her family.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years Phillip Tell Wines, brother-in-law: Roger Melton, and nephew, Brian Melton. She is survived by her sons, David Scott Wines, Mark Allen Wines and Rhonda Turner, Stephen Christopher Wines and her daughter and her husband, Lori and Robert Shawn Listerman, four grandchildren: Rebecca Turner, Nathanael Listerman, Jonathan Listerman, and Samuel Listerman. one sister: Patricia Melton and one brother and his wife, Richard and Debbie Jackson, Nieces, Nephews, and Family and Friends
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2019, at Ridgecrest Baptist, visitation will be before services, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
