Glenn Eugene Willard, age 97, of Springfield, Missouri, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 14, 2026. Glenn was born to Arthur and Bessie Willard on April 11, 1929, in Dora, MO. Glenn was united in marriage to Shirley Downing on September 30, 1950. Glenn and Shirley shared 56 years of marriage before Shirley’s untimely passing on June 17, 2007. They were blessed with 2 children, Lana and Randy.

Glenn accepted Christ at the age of 7 and was baptized in the North Fork River. He was always very active in church and served in many different roles throughout his lifetime. At the time of his death he was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

Glenn graduated from Southwest Missouri State College in 1952 with a B.S. in Education, major in math. He worked as an accountant, spending the majority of his career at Lipscomb Grain and Seed Company in Springfield, Missouri.

Glenn enjoyed spending time with his family and through the years he also enjoyed various activities such as gardening, reading, bowling, following sports, and working crossword puzzles.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Wilma Hale and Elsie Oliver; spouse, Shirley Willard; son, Randall “Randy” Willard; and son-in-law, Larry Bateman.

He is survived by his daughter Lana Bateman; granddaughter Dawn Mulbery and husband Eddie; great-granddaughter Hannah Mulbery; great-grandson Luke Mulbery and wife Juliana; three great-great-grandchildren Willow, John, and Thomas Mulbery; and many nieces and nephews.
