Harlan Andrew Green, age 88, of Springfield, MO, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010, at St. John’s Medical Center. He was born July 13, 1922, in Leroy, KS, to Walter and Nancy (Allison) Green. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a US Army Aircorp WWII veteran and the owner of B&G Window Co.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 60 years, Wilma (Lassley) Green; and a sister, Beverly Eggleston.
He is survived by two daughters: Gloria Ponder of TX, and Gayle Green of Springfield, MO; several grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, MO with Rev. Michael Overton officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery Springfield, MO. Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, MO.
