Harold Dean Peterson (b. September 20th, 1939) died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on July 17th, 2016. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 20th at Greenlawn North in Springfield. Visitation will be at 12 pm, services at 1 pm, and graveside is held at 3 pm at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd). He was the son of Dean and Hazel Scheid Peterson, husband to Mary Catherine, father of Teri, Scott, and Jake The Dog. Grandchildren include Caeli, Connor, Sloane, Ayler Mae, and future great grandchild Little Richards. Honorary children Nacy, Drew, Suzanne, and Terry. Harold’s siblings are Neta Rollins, Arlene Kelsay, and Dale Wayne Peterson, and was family to numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the American Cancer Society.
