LaBelle Schurke, 92, of Springfield, MO., passed away on May 13, 2018. LaBelle was born on June 9, 1925 in Ash Grove, MO. She went to Willard High School and graduated in 1943. LaBelle married Everett Schurke on October 14, 1943. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Labelle was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda, husband, Everett, two brothers, Charles Simmons and John Simmons and a sister, Burnice Walker. She is survived by children, Charles and wife Towana Schurke, Jim and wife Marty Schurke, Cathy and husband Tom Andrews, Denise and husband Steve Nelson and John and wife Barbara Schurke, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of many other relatives.
A graveside service for LaBelle will be on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 10:00 am in National Cemetery in Springfield, MO. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
