Harry Bernard Lowe, 82, of Springfield Missouri passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 11^th, 2024.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, 11 siblings, previous wife Wanda Lowe, and great grand-daughter Aubrey Lowe.

Harry was born February 11^th, 1942, to Henry and Marie Lowe on the homestead in Dean Montana.  His family later moved to Columbus Montana where he spent the rest of his childhood and graduated from Columbus High School Class of 1960.  Harry served in the United Stated Army from 1964 to 1967.  He served as an Optical Lab Specialist.  He worked in Optical for the next 57 years for U.S. Optical, as a manager on Military bases, moving to Springfield in 1982 to open Optical Department at Heers Department Store, then opening and managing Payless Optical Outlet and the last 12 years working at Queen City Optical.  He was always dedicated to his work and his family, working up to the day before his passing.   He enjoyed shopping as it got him out of the house, and he always looked sharp.  He loved collecting Coca-Cola and drank it daily, also enjoyed gardening and harvesting his tomato crops.

Harry is survived by his wife of 22 years, Marie Lowe.  She was devoted to him until his last breath.  He is also survived by his son Rick Lowe (Ellie) of Highlandville Missouri, daughter Melissa Bradfield (Aaron) of Oronogo Missouri, Step children Derek Murga of Chicago, Illinois, Daryl Murga of Clifton, New Jersey, Michelle Murga of Alexandria, Virginia and Monique Murga of Keller, Texas . He loved his Grandchildren Malia (Kelley), Brandon, Nick (Terra), Lilly, and Landis.  He was so looking forward to his first great grandchild Oliver.

His Retirement to Heaven Celebration will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home East at 3540 E. Seminole St., Springfield Mo 65809 on Saturday January 11^th at 2:00 p.m.
