Harry lived a long, full life. He loved his Lord and shared his faith generously following his favorite Bible verse in Romans 8:28, “”And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.“
His work ethic, formed by growing up on a farm, served him well for providing for his family. He sought adventure on ski slopes and tropical beaches. He loved quail and pheasant hunting with the “guys” and his dog, Sport.
Harry’s greatest joy was his family which includes his wife Concheta of the home; children Curt Lanpher (Martha) of Lawrence, KS, LaTricia Beach (JoeDee) of Boonville, MO, Jill Arnold (Jim) of Lee’s Summit, MO; grandchildren Renee Hartford (Brett), Brad Lanpher (Kirsten), Shelby Kenney (Jeff), Shanie Beach, Brandon Arnold (Kristin), Amanda Arnold, Christian Arnold (Sydney), Megan Schooley (Sara), Ryan Schooley; great grandchildren Selah and Talita Hartford, Liam and Sophie Lanpher, Addilynn and Rowan Arnold, and Gabrielle Arnold; brothers, Don Lanpher, Dennis Lanpher, sisters, Elenor Bennett, Evelyn Ashby and many other nieces and nephews. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Buel and Mayme Lanpher, a daughter, Kathy Schooley, and siblings Buel Lanpher, Charles Lanpher, Lyman Lanpher, Roger Lanpher and Paul Lanpher.
Harry’s family will receive visitors from 3:00-4:00 pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in the Northside Christian Church, 4902 N Highway H, Springfield, MO 65803.
