Hazel Irene (Medcalf) Nicodemus was born December 15th 1935 and left this world to be with Jesus Christ her Savor April 23rd 2020.
She leaves her loving husband of 66years Harry Lavern Nicodemus. One sister Bessie Marie Medcalf-Ward and one sister-in-law Cora Mae Nicodemus-Roberts. Two sons Dennis Lynn Nicodemus and wife Bonnie who has been their caretaker for a while. Terry Lee Nicodemus and wife Shelia who also helped when she could. One Grandson Christopher Lon Nicodemus and two Granddaughters Lori Ann Nicodemus-Parker and husband Kirk and Tammy Lynn Nicodemus-Woolsey. One great-grandson Tucker Lane Woolsey and great-grand daughter Hazelynn Joy Woolsey. Extended family three grandchildren sixteen great-grand children and seven great, great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by two brothers, Omar Medcalf and Clifford Medcalf and two sisters Pauline Frances Medcalf-Popejoy and Ruby Winona Medcalf-Kahler and one half- sister Milda Boren.
She was saved by the grace of God at 19 years old and was a life long member of True Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She loved all her nieces and nephews and always wanted to know this. She was a believer in pray and has prayed at one time or another for all of us!
She is greatly missed by all however us that have also been saved by the grace of God will see here again at Jesus feet in heaven one day.
