Helen (Clemons) Jennings age 103 of Protem passed away at her home on Monday, July 6, 2026.
She was born on April 30, 1923 in Protem the daughter of Arthur Benjamin “Ben” and Levi Mashburn Clemons. She was a longtime resident of the area. She attended Forsyth High School and was a member of the Protem Community Church. She was united in marriage to Francis Jennings on December 14, 1941.
Survivors are her children; Judith (Jack) Looney of Protem, Julia (Richard) Goodbar of East End, Arkansas, Bill Jennings of Protem, Bob (Joyce) Jennings of Nixa, Mo. and Tom (Lisa) Jennings of Hartville, Mo. 13 Grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Francis Jennings, son John Jennings, and grandsons Timothy Henry and Matthew Jennings. Siblings, Naomi Bailey, Sybil Meredith, A. B. and Bill Clemons and Edna Clarkson and two infant sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the Protem Community Church with Pastor Ed Hunsaker officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at the Wolf Cemetery under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
