I’ll never forget how much of a pleasure it was to get to work with David at SLC. When I first started I got to float around out front and my favorite parts where getting to help David rearrange stuff, fix displays and learn about his approach to life and work. He was a seriously smart and kind person, hard worker with a big heart, and I’ll never forget how working with him inspired me to be a better person and follow through with thoughtful hard work no matter what was to be done. My love goes out to his family and friends, I’m so sorry for your loss.

I always felt that David was down to earth and personable. He showed wisdom and had a mentor-like personality with some us newer folks at work. He will be missed by many.

Kim, I’m so sorry his life was cut short and I’m sorry you’re hurting without David. I know he’s in a beautiful place with no more pain or suffering! I know he’s waiting for you, I know he’s watching over until you come to meet him at Jesus’ feet!!! If you need anything, I’m a phone call or a text away! Lean on us and let us be your strength! Know that God has a plan and a purpose, though we don’t know why, we have to know Gods taking care of David now! I love you!

So many memories. One I will never forget we drove to Grove, Oklahoma. We were headed to see one of Davids friends Roger. We were in my black Chevy Malibu. I bet we played Baby got Back by Sir Mix-a-lot dozens of times on the way there and back. While at Grand Lake we decided we were going to swim all the way across the lake. We barely made it. But we sure had fun. I like to remember David when we were younger before we became men. The basketball games at the church, running the courts at SMS and chasing girls around this town. Playing video games all night long. Always picking on Derek, we love you Derek. Those were the good times. So many more memories that could last a lifetime. Miss you so much . We are brothers for life. Fly high Underdog. I will see you soon. Pup
