Mr. Henry E. Rohrs, age 90 of Bona, MO, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010, in the Dade County Nursing Home. He was born September 9, 1919, in Blackwell, OK, to Walter E. and Pearl (Howe) Rohrs. He was united in marriage to Vena C. Bumgardner August 1, 1940, and to this union two daughters were born. He is a member of the Bona Church of Christ.
His parents; a brother Floyd Rohrs; two sisters: Gladys Fultz, and Geraldean Bumgardner; and a grandson Russell P. Scott precede him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years Vena of the home; two daughters: Judith Scott and her husband Jerry of Raymore, MO, and Kay Bohlen and her husband Charles of Foxpark, WY; five grandchildren: Roger Scott and his wife Penny of Raymore, MO, Steven Scott and his wife Veronica of Lee’s Summit, MO, Julie Coakley and her husband Brian of Arvada, CO, Jeff Bohlen and his wife Dana of Clark, CO, and Krista Church and her husband Eric of Cope, CO; a granddaughter in-law Julie Nichodemus of Buckner, MO; 13 great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
According to Henry’s wishes his body will be cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date.
