Herman Haskell Vinson of Waynesboro, Mississippi, died April 9, 2017, at 10:15 p.m. at Branson Cox Hospital, Branson, Missouri, after a short illness. Mr. Vinson was 94 years old.
He is survived by his daughter Sandra Berry (Nolen) of Branson, Missouri; grandson Terrell Vinson, Prattville, Alabama; grandson Barry Johnson, Jefferson City, Missouri; great granddaughter Marlee Johnson Billingsley (Joey, U.S. Marine Corps) and great-great grandson Benjamin Michael Billingsley, Jefferson City, Missouri; his sister Sara V. Graeub, of Lavonia, Georgia and a host of nieces and nephews and family residing in the Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia.
Mr. Vinson was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Maxine Vinson, his son Herman Vinson, Jr., a grandson Roland Bruce Vinson, his parents Joseph W. Vinson and Bertha Vinson Tiner, his sister Minna Overstreet, and his brothers Venoy Vinson, Roland Vinson and Clint Vinson.
