Hilda C. (McKinney) Woodmansee, 76, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord at 10:22 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013. She was born, Tuesday, June 23, 1936, in Fair Grove, Missouri, to Bill and Mintie (Speaks) McKinney.
Hilda married Johnnie M. Woodmansee on December 8, 1951, in Harrison, Arkansas. She was a member of National Heights Baptist Church in Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Rex Woodmansee. Hilda is survived by her husband, Johnnie; two daughters, Debby Cruse and Marsha Shipley and her husband, Robert; five grandchildren, Alex Woodmansee, Gary Cruse, Bryan Cruse and his wife, Belinda, Marlana Shipley, and Gretchen Shipley; and six great-grandchildren, Gary, Lincoln, Amanda, Andrea, Daisie, and Shelby, all of Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2013, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with Rev. Vaughn Weatherford officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in the funeral home.
