Hoanh Thach departed this life at 59 years old on February 3rd, 2020. He was born in Vietnam on January 1st, 1961. In 2002, he started his American journey with his family. The surviving family includes: his wife, Ngoc Ha Thi Thach, and his two daughters, Thu Hang Thu Thach and Duy Phuong Thi Thach.
One of his greatest accomplishments was his restaurant, Twin Dragons. Opened in 2010 in Greenfield, Missouri, Hoanh happily dedicated ten years of his life to his restaurant. And although English wasn’t his first language, he always made the effort to get to know his customers, especially the little ones. When he searched for peace, he turned to gardening. Hoanh’s caring, hardworking, and welcoming attitude will never be forgotten. Everything he did was for his family. The impact he made on those around him will last lifetimes, his memory will always remain.
His service will be on Saturday, February 8th, 9 A.M. – 9 P.M. The funeral will be on Sunday, February 9th, 8 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. Both will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home. The cremation service will also be on Sunday at Greenlawn Funeral Home Crematory.
