Howard Cole “Pat” Fodrie lost his valiant battle he fought with such courage and went from our arms to the receiving arms of Jesus on Friday, September 18, 2015. He loved his Lord and now he is with Him. Howard is preceded in death by his parents, Clara Dee and Hubert Leo Fodrie, sisters Esther Belle Schmitt and Lynda Steed, and son Joey Cloyd.
Howard and wife Connie were the Founders of Texas State Healthcare in Texas. He was the Administrator and CFO. His affection for his co-workers, business associates and the patients his company cared for and served was an inspiration to all that knew and loved him. The love he had for all his family, his friends and the special bond he had with his wife Connie, will remain in our hearts forever. We will miss him deeply, but we will always be grateful for the time we had with this kind, gentle soul.
Howard is survived by his wife, Connie of their home in Texas, son Steven Fodrie of Texas, daughters Kendall Bramblet and Ashley Ellis, both of North Carolina, son Benny Cloyd of Missouri and sister Berta Smith of Virginia, 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and many more family members.
Visitation will be Friday, September 25, 2015 from 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral service will be Sat. September 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hope Cemetery.
