Funeral Services for Hugh Youngblood age 90 of Branson, MO. will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson with Pastor Sam Kaunley officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Valley Cemetery in Hollister, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson.
He died at 12:30PM, Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Culpepper Place.
He was born on July 7, 1919 in Oasis, MO the son of Jesse James and Jewel Jones Youngblood. He was a retired truck driver and business owner. He was also a United States Army Veteran and served in WWII. He was a life long resident of Taney County.
He is survived by his children; Jim R. Youngblood and wife Barbara of Branson, MO., and Judy David and husband Ron of Kirbyville, MO., a sister, Edna Mae Cummings of Tulsa, OK., a brother, Garland Youngblood of Wilton, CA., 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lottie Beal Youngblood, a son, Kenneth “Pete” Youngblood, one sister, Oleta Gaston, two brothers, Herbert Youngblood and Junior Youngblood.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 PM on Friday, August 14, 2009 at the funeral home.
