Inez went to her eternal home on February 28, 2013, at the age of 78, with family members by her side. She was born August 3, 1934, to Earl and Mae (Allie) Kitterman of Springfield, Missouri, where she grew up. Inez graduated from Senior High School in 1952. She married Ray Nelson in 1954 and raised 6 children from this marriage. Inez worked 43 years at Dayco. After a short retirement, she went to work for Lakeland Hospital for 12 more years before her health forced her to retire. Inez loved to travel with her sister, Irma. She was an avid reader of the Bible and a big fan of Elvis. She enjoyed attending Galloway Full Gospel Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray; and two sons, Timothy Ray and Scotty Wayne. Inez is survived by three daughters, Janice, Lynn, and Julie; a son Russell and Pam; a dear sister, Irma Dewitt; special niece and nephew, Kathryn and David; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 3, 2013, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be Monday, March 4, at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com.
