Irma Marie Joyce, 90, Springfield, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020, in her home. She was born in Minonk, Illinois, on February 6, 1930, to Haldean and Laversa Schickedanz. She was a graduate of the University of Illinois, with a Journalism degree. She was an active woman, having been an author, an accountant, and a housewife. In her spare time, she was an avid golfer.
Irma was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Joyce. She is survived by her son, James Joyce II and her daughter, Cynthia Warren. No services are planned. Cremation is under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
