Ikey went to high school at Central and was the first graduating class out of Parkview. He played football in high school and always enjoyed his school reunions. He and Carol were married in 1957 and enjoyed 52 years of marriage. He loved the out of doors. He started fishing at 7 or 8 years of age and never stopped. He has many fishing tournament wins. In 1978, he won Biggest Bass and 1st place at the Tournament of Champions, taking home a new boat. In 1979, he was presented a Sportsmanship Award by his peers. The last few years, he has looked forward to his fishing trips with his brother, Tom Worsham and his nephew, Tommy Worsham. In 1956, he became interested in archery and eventually became Missouri State Archery Champion in 1972. He also enjoyed playing pool and was involved in a Billiards League. His is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters, Nancy Procter and her husband Dennis, Sherri Carrigan and her husband Dale. Carol and Ikey have six grandchildren, Tristan and Jacob Procter, Justin, Erin, Gregory and Leah Carrigan. He is also survived by his sister, Doloris Turner and Tom Worsham. Memorial services will be held in Greenlawn East, 3540 E. Seminole, at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 12, 2009. Family and friends gathering following service.
