Iva May (Erwin) Gilmore, 85, of Halfway, Missouri, passed away January 11,2012, at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility, in Bolivar, Missouri. She was born, May 26, 1926, in Halfway, Missouri to Paul D. Erwin and Mary (Altic) Erwin.
She worked in the home as a homemaker, for most of her life.
Iva May Gilmore is survived by two sons, Rex Gilmore of Halfway and Billy Gilmore and wife Velma of Halfway, two daughters, Brinda Johnson and husband Mike of Halfway, and Shirley Orrell, also of Halfway. She is also survived by three brothers, James Erwin of Halfway, Don Erwin of Kansas City, Missouri and Gene Erwin of the state of California, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Iva May Gilmore will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Pitts Chapel, Bolivar, Missouri, with Bro. DeWayne Burdette officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, January 13, in the Chapel. Interment will be in Slagle Cemetery, Bolivar, Missouri.
