Mrs. J. Berdean Hodges, age 94 of Springfield, MO, passed away March 12, 2011. She was born January 25, 1917, in Ralph, KY, to Devert and Jessie (Barnfram) Mosely. She was united in marriage to O.J. Hodges, Jr. June 14, 1941. She has lived in Springfield for over 51 years. She was a member of the University Heights Baptist Church.
Her parents and husband Dr. O.J. Hodges precede her in death. One daughter Susan Loyal of Duluth, GA, survives.
According to her wishes Berdean’s body will be cremated. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 18, 2011, at the University Heights Baptist Church with Dr. Daniel Chisholm officiating. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
