Jack Earl Spears 82, Springfield, formerly of the Peoria, IL area died Saturday, May 18, 2013 in his home. Jack was born in West Plains, Mo. on December 27, 1930, to Earl and Faye (Griffin) Spears. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran. He was a Production Supervisor for Caterpillar Tractor Company, retiring after 30 years.
Jack is survived by his wife, Doris, of the home; a daughter: Debra Nesmith of Bolivar, MO two sons: Dennis Spears of Springfield, MO and Steven Spears of Chester, IL two sisters: Jean Sparks; Virden, IL and Wilda Hand: West Plains, MO as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, June 15, 2013 in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses: 2857 North East Avenue, Springfield, Mo. Inurnment will be Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
