Jack Harrison Fisher, age 79, of Springfield, MO, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011, at St. John’s Medical Center. He was born May 21, 1931, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Walter and Marcia (Meigs) Fisher. Jack was involved with the ADRDA(Alzheimer’s). His greatest thrill was working on the Apollo Projects. He loved his garden and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Sandi Fisher; a granddaughter Bridget Fisher; three brothers: Houston, Frank, and Walter Fisher; and one sister Marcia Webber.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years Susan Allison(Allison) Fisher; five children: Frank Fisher, Kevin Fisher and wife Tracie, Jim Fisher and wife Maria, Ken Fisher, and Jeni Fields and husband Mike; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; two nephews and one niece; as well as other relatves and friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, MO.
