Jack Harrison Fleming 85, Fordland, MO. formerly of Murphys.CA. passed away August 9, 2020 after a long illness. He was born in St. Joseph, MO. on April 12, 1935, to Arthur and Reba (Ellison) Fleming. Jack was K.U. graduate with a Masters Degree in Aircraft Engineering. Jack Harrison Fleming 85, Fordland, MO. formerly of Murphys.CA. passed away August 9, 2020 after a long illness. He was born in St. Joseph, MO. on April 12, 1935, to Arthur and Reba (Ellison) Fleming. Jack was K.U. graduate with a Masters Degree in Aircraft Engineering. He worked for Hughes Aircraft as an Aerospace Engineer for 35 years, before his retirement. After his retirement, he worked as an actor for several years and also did some commercials. He was a Reserve Policeman for a while, in Los Angeles, California.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Betty Jo Cotten. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Frances Stansbury, and two brothers: Kenneth Robert Fleming and Kenneth’s wife, Patricia, and Dr. Lawrence Daniel Fleming DVM. along with his nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2020, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
