Barbara Bachmann left a message on August 18, 2020:
I worked for Jack at Hughes Aircraft Company with the engineers who developed radar for the f-15 and F-18's Jack was my favorite engineer. He was a hard worker who was soft spoken, intelligent, handsome and a true gentleman. We worked together in the late 70's and early 80's. In life i tried to find him and it is with irony that I just did a search and found his obituary. Rest in Peace Jack. I never met many men like you.
William Beckers left a message on August 15, 2020:
Jack was an outstanding engineer and manager at Hughes Aircraft Company. In his early years, he worked for the Company in Europe supporting airborne radar systems. Most of his career was in development engineering in Los Angeles creating advanced radar systems. I knew of Jack when I was also overseas, but we never crossed paths until a chance meeting brought us together in a small town in northern California where coincidentally we had both retired. Jack was an avid outdoorsman who loved all animals, wild and domesticated. He loved active outdoor sports and became a fly fisherman, a serious tennis player and a skilled golfer. Jack had many like-minded friends and was very active for many years in the community. He had a variety of photographs in his home and statues of various animals in the wild throughout his landscaping. He loved travelling in an RV, getting out into nature and photographing deer, bears and other animals he came across. He was a great all-around guy who everyone liked. Jack was a good friend to me and others and we will never forget the good times we all enjoyed. May you rest in peace, Jack.
