Jack Lee Sharp, age 71, of Bolivar, MO passed away June 7, 2011 in Bolivar, MO. He was born July 23, 1939 in Eudora, MO to Leo Edwin Sharp and Hazel Mae (Malicoat) Sharp.
He served in the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge in 1960. He was married to Janice Lucille (Watson) January 28, 1961 in Eudora, MO.
Jack was a truck driver for Yellow Freight for 12 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one half-brother, Jerry Allen Sharp.
He is survived by his wife, Janice L. Sharp of the home. He is also survived by three sons, Edwin Lee (Sam) Sharp of Walnut Shade, MO, Ronnie Lee Sharp of Springfield, MO, and Brian Gene Sharp, of Sparta, MO; Thomas E. Sharp, half-brother, of Springfield, MO; and one cousin, Kathy Bond Evans of Strafford, MO; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Jack will be Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 11:00 am until the service time at 1:00 pm in Greenlawn North Funeral Home, Springfield, MO. Chaplain Franklin Reagan will be officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Missouri Veteran Cemetery.
