Jacob William Marler Sr. 73, of Springfield, Mo. passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2011 in his home. He was born on June 30th 1937 in Springfield, Mo.
Jacob served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked at Pepsi Cola of Springfield, Mo for 30 years; he retired in 1992. He was a member of the local V.F.W. and Am Vets.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Marler and his mother, Josie (Scott) Marler.
Survivors include his siblings, Gary, Joyce, Pat, Bena, and Margie. His children, Willy & wife Lisa Marler, Ty and wife April Marler, Shannon and wife Sherry Marler and Kodi and husband Tim Horton. Grandchildren include Amanda Marler, Spencer Marler, Dustin Moore, Alexis Horton, Tori Horton, Sam Horton, Connor Marler, Piper Marler and Carleigh Marler.
Graveside services will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. Visitation will be Thursday January 20th, 2011 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
