Jaiden L. Falls, age 18 , of Springfield, passed away Monday, August 1st, 2022 at Mercy Hospital .
Jaiden was born January 28, 2004 in Springfield, MO,the son of Melvin Falls and Janine Newman. He was a 2022 graduate of Parkview High School. Jaiden worked for Low Country Originals. He was a gifted athlete, playing basketball and football in high school, he was also a talented music writer and rapper. The most important thing to Jaiden was spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his father, Melvin Falls; mother, Janine Newman; five brothers, Darius and Devin Rivera, Jordan Falls, Myron Thompson, and Jai’Vyon Falls; six sisters, Rene Murphy, Adrienne Forbes, Shala Thompson, Melia Wehrman, Makia Walker, and Jada Falls; maternal grandfather, Jamie Newman Sr.; paternal grandmothers, MaryAnn Lee and husband Charles, and Katherine Falls and husband Bobby; four uncles Jamie Newman Jr. (Gabriela), Timmy Falls (Mary), Hosea Green, and Michael Falls Sr. (Amy); 3 aunts, Jenell Hale (Tyler), Anne Henderson (Johnathan), and Lamonica Robinson; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and host of family and friends.
Jaiden was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Carol Newman; and paternal grandfather, Melvin DeBerry
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Friday, August 12, 2022 at Greenlawn Funeral Home South . A celebration of Jaiden’s life will be held Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at 2:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home South 441 W. Battlefield Springfield, MO 65807. A reception will be held immediately following the service at Ozarks Event Center, 842 Guin Road, Nixa, Mo 65714.
Memorial donations may be made in Jaiden’s name to MidAmerica Transplant or Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence.
