James R. Cassity of Springfield, MO, age 81, passed away Friday December 4, 2020. He was born in Red Top, MO on August 22, 1939. He spent a large part of his life in the automotive business, including co-owning Metro Motors. Preceding his death were his parents-James R. Cassity, Sr., Ona Smith Cassity and multiple brothers and sisters. He is survived by his faithful loving wife, Carol; his much loved children-Brian and Amy, and four grandchildren: Alex, Jacob, Tanner, and Kylie, who were a joy to him. Both visitation and service will be at Greenlawn North. Visitation on Wednesday Dec. 9th from 5-7 PM. The service will be December 10th at 1:00 PM. Burial following at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
