James Fowler Reaves passed away peacefully on May 4, 2024, at the age of 91. Born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on September 23, 1932, James was a minister in the Church of Christ community. He dedicated his life to spreading messages of love, faith, and kindness.
James leaves behind his two sons: Paul Reaves and his wife Lindsay, and Daniel Reaves, and his two grandchildren: Tori Mercado and Alli Reaves. James’ journey on earth has come to an end, his spiritual guidance and teachings will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A Graveside funeral service to celebrate James’ life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North No visitation is planned.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Church of Christ in memory of James.
