James Harold Haggard, 99, of Springfield, MO (formerly of Kansas City, MO) died July 29, 2012. He was born on June 27, 1913 to John and Flora Haggard of Monett, MO. He married Pauline Carlin Haggard on June 22, 1935. During WW II, James courageously served his country in France and Germany. In 1951 Harold and Pauline were charter members of the Birchwood Baptist Church in Independence, MO and served faithfully there until they moved to Springfield in 1987 where they became active members of South Haven Baptist Church.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister and infant son. He is survived by his wife of 77 years, Pauline Haggard and his son Raymond Haggard.
Visitation will be on Thursday evening, August 2, 2012 in Greenlawn Funeral Home South from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Graveside Service will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Monett, MO. at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012.
